The HHS Account Leader will identify, pursue, and win business opportunities at the Department of Health and Human Services and other Federal healthcare agencies.

What We Do
FI Consulting helps government and commercial sector clients solve complex problems around Data, Modeling, Analytics, and Technology. FI has an established business serving US Federal sector civilian agencies that manage complex portfolios. Our clients include the US Department of Homeland Security, Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, and Treasury. Our work spans financial management, modeling and implementation, data analysis, independent validation, statistical analysis, risk management, program and portfolio management, and developing custom analytic and reporting tools.

FI is seeking to expand its business to serve clients in the healthcare industry, with an initial and primary focus on HHS. We have a foundation on which to build including several emerging, differentiated solutions to common problems in analytics and data management, specific health care industry use cases for these solutions, and healthcare subject matter expertise.

The Role
The role of the HHS Account Leader is to identify, pursue, and win business serving HHS component agencies and other Federal healthcare agencies. The HHS Account Leader will collaborate closely with FI healthcare and other subject matter experts who are developing solutions for this market. The Account Leader will lead both opportunity-driven sales as well as proactive solution-driven sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Grow FI’s Healthcare business by finding, cultivating, and closing new opportunities at HHS and other Federal healthcare clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with FI subject matter experts to support sales meetings, to match FI solutions to client needs, and to inform development of new solutions.
  • Develop intelligence from client and industry research and use that to inform solution development.
  •  Achieve revenue, growth, and performance goals. 
  • Embody FI core values.
  • Support corporate-wide initiatives.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of progress against annual plan.

Domain Knowledge:
  • Deep knowledge of HHS and Federal government procurements, including how HHS agencies buy, who the key buyers are, how to sell to them, and the competitive landscape. 
  • Understanding of how data, modeling, analytics, and technology can drive solutions to business problems. 
  • Established relationships within the government healthcare agencies and contractor community. 
 Required Qualifications:
  • Direct experience selling management consulting services, custom technology solutions, and/or other complex offerings to HHS.
  • Has successfully developed and managed government healthcare related accounts and overseen sales and delivery within the account.
  • Experience designing and implementing business development initiatives including capture plans. 
  • Demonstrated proposal management and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth .
  • Authorization for permanent employment in the U.S. 
  • Current or past Treasury clearance is a plus.
