FI’s Financial Modeling role encompasses the methodologies, tools, and approaches that transform client data into a valuable asset. 

Project Description:

The candidate will provide support to large, high-profile government clients in developing, enhancing, and executing credit models to estimate the cost of their lending portfolios. Responsibilities include:

  • Enhance credit risk models based on self-validation of model performance, policy changes, and agency initiatives.
  • Execute credit models and prepare model outputs for submission in the President’s Budget and Financial Statements.
  • Maintain suite of documentation of model functions and processes, key model assumptions, model testing, and internal control processes.
  • Conduct sensitivity, decomposition, and scenario analyses to help assess model performance.
  • Develop credit models to estimate the cost of new credit programs.
  • Analyze historical program and market data to help develop performance assumptions for credit models.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years of relevant experience (financial modeling, data analysis)
  • Undergraduate degree in related field (finance, mathematics, statistics, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SAS, R, Python and/or similar programming languages. Candidate should be able to demonstrate strong technical skills.
  • Prior experience working with FCRA subsidy models is preferred but not required.
  • US Citizenship required for client's work
