The Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics Solution Architect will design, develop, and deliver high-quality,  enterprise-scale technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong business, analytical, and technical skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Architect and implement enterprise-class solutions integrating Microsoft Power Platform and Azure technologies seamlessly within client environments.
  • Lead the development of FI products and custom solutions that deliver business value to our clients and are synergistic with other FI Consulting solutions and capabilities.
  • Serve as the go-to technical lead for FI Consulting’s Microsoft-based business solutions.
  • Develop, review, and test customized plugins, PCF controls, APIs, integrations, and reusable components that leverage the latest Microsoft platform enhancements.
  • Coach and mentor FI Consulting’s growing team of technical professionals to become well-versed in developing Power Platform solutions.
  • Lead technical, integration, and data migration workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
  • Become an internal and external thought leader on Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Microsoft Power Platform components, Azure, and related technologies.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the possibilities of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Cloud technologies to create new line-of-business applications.
  • Secure and protect company and client data and information and prevent its improper disclosure.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, preferably in Computer Science or closely related field (i.e. computer science, software engineering, IT, etc.).
  • Four (4) plus years of experience developing and implementing solutions based on Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365, including configuration, custom development, deployment, operation, and maintenance support.
  • Expertise in developing and leading development teams building solutions on Power Apps (Dataverse/model-driven and canvas apps) and Power Automate.
  • Expertise in developing and leading development teams implementing external web portals using Power Pages or Dynamics portals.
  • Experience integrating external data and systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
  • 5+ years of technical experience with Microsoft development technologies, including ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, Microsoft SQL server, and Azure
  • Up to date certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Experience (CE) or Power Platform (e.g., MBS-716, MB-200/400/600 or PL-200/400)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or closely related field (i.e. computer science, software engineering, IT, etc.) OR additional years of direct experience beyond those already mentioned.
  • Experience with multiple end-to-end full life cycle implementations of Power Platform or Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Experience with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps)
  • Two or more years of experience with Agile development
  • Experience administering and integrating Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Experience developing custom connectors for Azure, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Experience with Azure administration, Logic Apps, and cloud architecture
  • Experience developing visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
  • Professional IT consulting experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States as a permanent resident or US Citizen.  We are not able to sponsor or accept any visa holders at this time including H1B.
